Rare: Jimi Hendrix Gallery
The Jimi Hendrix Experience (with Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell, drums) played their final Toronto concert on May 3, 1969. Most of the 12,000 who attended his Maple Leaf Gardens show were unaware that Hendrix had been charged with possession of drugs after landing at the airport. The charges were dropped 4 months later.
With his Marshall amplifiers in overdrive, Hendrix led the audience through an Electric Ladyland experience.
